Location	The honeymoon location was defined - It had to be quiet, relaxing, comfortably cool (not tropical), and unfamiliar. After searching the Internet for honeymoon "hotspots," the decision was made to exclude popular tourist spots. So, several inquiries were sent to resorts and bed & breakfast inns near mountainous areas. Then, out of the blue, almost lost in a cluster of links, came this enlightening webspot. A place that was perfect! Whispering Winds Cabin Resorts located in the Great Smoky Mountains, North Carolina (right outside of Ashville).
The Cabin	Handbuilt by Eduard and Pamela Mercer (no cabin kits here), this is the real thing! The Mercers have mastered the trade and converted their homesite (some 40 acres) into a growing, friendly (no locks on the doors) resort.
